What is your opinion on the ethics of cancer treatments?
From the first cancer treatments by William Coley of injecting strep throat bacteria into a patient's body (erysipelas) to modern day treatments with chemotherapy and radiotherapy, what is your opinion on the ethics of these treatments, and which one do you think is the most effective?

I'm not certain I understand your reference to "ethics". Suffice to say, I stand in awe of medical miracles. I could be dead, my mother-in-law would be dead along with other in-laws without those miracles. I do have a problem with cloning because I see it as an organ bank and don't embrace the creation of life for no other reason than to harvest the organs. I hope I gave you enough to hit your question. I do accept email at my profile if you want more thoughts on the subject.

i think as long as it is explained to the patient, it is their choice to choose whatever treatment they and their doctor think is the best. my dad had leukemia and underwent many experimental drugs that were not fda approved.

I say a prayer every day for my oncologist who is a researcher for lymphoma which I was diagnosed with. He saved my life twice, and I am so grateful that this person has dedicated his life to trying to help people that he would never know otherwise.
