a cell doesnt just become cancer, a cell has to go through several mutations in order to become dangerous.. the definition of cancer is "the uncontrollable multiplication of abnormal cells" your body tries to protect itself from this by covering the cells in tissue .. this is known as a tumour.. radiation can cause cancer but it usually can only mutate cells in a way that it is not dangerous.. if one cell mutates and becomes abnormal you immune system will cut its o2 supply and kill it.. so another mutation would have to occur in order for the cell to multiply before the body kills it.. and there is no proof that anti oxidants will stop cancer however certain ones found in green tea eliminate a certain free radical in the body which cancer needs to survive.. its kinda a vis a vis thing but no solid proof

Many times when you start to treat a cancer tumor you think you've ,destroyed all of the cells. However often the tumor has already spread to the lymph nodes & started to grow in a new area.At times the new tumor may even be in a much farther location than the primary. I haven't heard of any anti oxidants helping.
